TREEMENDERS’ CHARITIES 2024
The Stars Appeal is Salisbury District Hospital's Charity. Aiming to raise at least £1million this year to enhance care across all Wards and Departments and to help thousands of local people get better faster, return home sooner and to have a more positive hospital experience.
Brook Hospital supports the welfare of over two million working horses, donkeys and mules across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Their staff includes vets, animal welfare experts, and advocacy and development specialists.
Woodland Trust - Are the country’s largest woodland conservation charity with over 500,000 members and supporters and more than 1,000 sites, covering over 26,000 hectares, all over the UK.
The Woodland trust stands up for woods and trees. They protect and campaign, plant trees, and restore ancient woodland for the benefit of wildlife and people
Julia's House - Julia's House is a children's hospice located in Corfe Mullen, Dorset, England and Devizes, Wiltshire. It is a hospice for children with life-limiting, life-threatening or terminal conditions. The majority of the children who are cared for by Julia's House are unlikely to live beyond the age of 18
Salisbury Hospice - Provide high-quality, specialist care and support for people facing terminal and advanced, progressive illness.
Many of their patients do have cancer but some have other long-term conditions, such as chronic lung disease, motor neurone disease and heart failure.
Battersea Dogs Home - From the moment they welcomed their first stray dog in 1860 they have been placing their animals at the centre of everything they do. More than three million animals later, they are still working hard to achieve their vision that every dog and cat should live in a home where they are treated with love, care and respect. -
We have five fantastic dogs at the moment... please rehome a dog rather than go through a breeder, there are a lot of animals out there needing some love.
